The curricullum for this four weeks workshop has been specially crafted by Prof. Taneja on the basis of miesner technique which he learned under Sanford Meisner during his training at the Neighborhood Playhouse in New York.
Prof. Taneja is one of the great teachers who has used this technique to teach acting in India where people used to think that acting is something which is god gifted and cannot be taught. But he made all actors realize that like any other skill,to be a good actor, one needs training and practice to master this art/skill. Under his Method training, an actor recalls emotions or reactions from his or her own life and uses them to identify with the character being portrayed.
MOVEMENT: The movement exercise involves your entire body to express the instrumental music being played. It could be dance or free flowing actions. The students are encouraged to respond to the music in a way they interpret it. The various outcomes of the exercise are amazing as one can see all the actors unfolding and shedding away their inhibition.

ACTION PROBLEM: Any situation in which the uncoordinated actions of each player may not result in the best outcome he or she can achieve.
